Acrobatics Course - Aerobatic Rating training course *


OBJECTIVES : To obtain the theoretical knowledge and the technical proficiency of flight necessary to obtain 

                            of EASA AR - Aerobatic Rating qualification.

                       


Enables participation in acrobatics championships, for the Basic / IAC Elementary and Sports / IAC Sportsman categories.

                  

Introduction to Aresti symbology and basic competition acrobatics

Theoretical briefings associated with the maneuvers to be performed in each flight mission:


                    - Recovery from Abnormal Attitudes

                    - Spin

                    - Looping & Clover Leaf

                    - Stall-Turn / Hammerhead

                    - Roll (aileron roll & barrel roll)

                    - Cuban Eight

                    - Immelmann


Mission 1 [Citabria] - 0:30 - Normal and Abnormal Procedures & Introduction to aerobatic flight

Mission 2 [Citabria] - 0:45 - Vrille

Mission 3 [Citabria] - 0:45 - Recovery from Abnormal Attitudes

Mission 4 [Citabria] - 0:45 - Basic maneuvers: Looping, Roll 

Mission 5 [Citabria] - 0:45 - Basic combinations: Cuban-Eight, Immelmann

Mission 6 [Citabria] - 0:45 - Advanced combinations: Hammerhead, Clover Leaf

Mission 7 [Citabria] - 0:45 - Basic Acrobatic Sequences IAC

Mission 8 [Citabria] - 0:30 - ACRO Exam Flight with ACA (Acrobatics Competency Assessor)


Requirements : 40 flight hours as PIC

                     EASA PPL (A) license or higher

                     Valid SEP qualification

                     Valid Medical Certificate


Total duration : 5:30 hours flight in Citabria 7ECA (minimum)

                             ( Missions repeated and / or increased if necessary to achieve the desired proficiency)

                         10:00 hours of theory + Briefings / Debriefings

                         1 or 2 flight missions per day, depending on the availability of the Instructor (s) and the stomach of the "student"!

                             (typically from 1 month to a recommended maximum of 4 months from the beginning of the course)

                         


Limitation : Flying with a pilot  included in the insurance and authorized by the aircraft owner.

                    Very limited availability of Acrobatics Instructors.

 UPRT FCL.745A Course - Advanced Upset Prevention & Recovery Training Course
(Prevention & Recovery from Abnormal Attitudes) *

OBJECTIVES : To obtain the theoretical knowledge and technical proficiency of flight to  prevent , and if necessary to  recognize  and  recover  from any intentional or inadvertent abnormal attitude, including inverted flight tickets.

Theoretical classes on abnormal attitudes, most common causes and correct recovery techniques for  ANY  flight attitude,  with practical training for entry and recovery of any flight attitude. 
Certified course according to EASA FCL.745A requirements

Course duration : Theory: 5 hours + Briefings / Debriefings 

                                   Flight : 3 hours (4 flights of 0: 45h each)

  UPRT Instructor Course - UPRTi - Advanced Upset Prevention & Recovery Instructor Training Course *

OBJECTIVES : Train UPRT Instructors, so that they can teach UPRT courses  FCL.745A - Advanced Upset Prevention & Recovery Training Course , both in THEORY and FLIGHT.

Basic and advanced UPRT theory, for Flight Instructors, so they can teach the complete UPRT program  according to EASA FCL.745A requirements
Certified course according to EASA FCL.745A requirements

Course length : Theory: 10 hours + Briefings / Debriefings 

                                 Flight: minimum of 3 hours (4 flights of 0: 45h each)
                                         (program adaptable to the experience and performance of the Instructor in training)

 Vrille / Spin Training Course

Objectives : Vrille entry training, Vrille recognition and Vrille exit.


Theoretical briefing on losses and vrille, and practical flight training with acknowledgment of entry into vrille, 
in the phases of incipient vrille (1 lap or less) and developed vrille (2 laps or more), with vrille recovery training. 


Course duration : Theory: 1: 30h 

                                 Flight: 45 minutes
